Gift Certificates

1. Your Gift Certificate is for a studio Family Portrait Session. ‘Family’ is parents and/or grandparents with children of any age. Many clients take this opportunity to make Multigenerational Portraits including up to five generations.
2. Children – If you would like your children photographed individually or together, we are only too happy to photograph them at no extra charge separately and together. To get the best results the entire family unit must attend the Portrait Session.
3. Partial Families – We do not photograph ‘incomplete families’, where a listed family member has not been able to attend the portrait session at last minute. We may be able to reschedule a new appointment for you when you are all together again. If you have family away please discuss options with our staff.
4. Gift Certificates are only valid if used by the named recipient, are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
5. We do not accept temporary ‘bookings’ as this may lock-out other families from prime dates. A request only becomes an appointment when confirmed with a Refundable Reservation Deposit. It secures any appointments from other families. This ensures that all bookings are solid and locked in. It is after your final appointment (Collection) that your reservation details may be refunded. A deposit may also be applied to items/services at the business. A valid credit card is required to make all Portrait Photography Reservations, similar to a Hotel reservation or a Hire car reservation. A pre-authorisation reservation fee applies to all reservations to secure your appointments in our calendar. This ‘held’ amount will be charged for cancellations, late reschedules, late or non-attendance to appointments. Any appointment changes must be made a week or more prior to your booked appointment, by telephone.
6. Gift Certificates are not valid past expiry date – your Portrait Session must occur before expiry date, it is advisable to call us within 7 days of receiving your Gift Certificate to ensure we can give you more time and day options.
7. We require that two adults (usually both parents) attend the Image Selection Appointment. This will save you time and make decisions much easier, allowing us to run on time for other clients. This appointment is unable to take place unless two adults attend.
8. Studio hours are Wednesday to Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm. After hours Portrait Sessions are very popular and we may be able to have our staff accommodate your family after 5pm Wednesday to Friday or from 9am to 5pm on a Saturday, subject to availability.
9. Location photography (Beach, Home, etc) is available at extra cost and is subject to availability – please ask our bookings team. Pets are photographed on-location only.
10. Additional and Larger Portraits, French Cotton finishes and Frames – You are never under any obligation to invest more than your Gift Certificate value. Naturally, we are here to help you get the best portraits from your family and we can offer valuable advice on how to achieve the best end result, even if you have a limited budget. We offer interest-free terms up to 12 months and accept all credit cards without surcharges.
